Elderly Manifestations of “Multidimensional Poverty”—A Re-Examination of Social Capital and Elderly Poverty

摘要: 在我国人口老龄化步伐持续加快的背景之下，老年贫困逐渐呈现出社会参与、数字参与等多方面复杂交织的样态。本文基于多维贫困理论，系统分析社会资本对老年多维贫困的缓冲或加剧作用，梳理当前我国老年多维贫困的现状特征与群体差异，结合国内相关政策实践与期刊研究成果，探索社会资本视角下老年多维贫困的治理路径，为破解老年贫困、提升老年群体生活品质、推进积极老龄化提供理论支撑与实践参考。

Abstract: In the context of the aging of China’s population continues to intensify, elderly poverty has evolved into a complex phenomenon characterized by the social participation, and digital engagement. Based on the theory of multidimensional poverty, this paper systematically analyzes the effects of social capital on multidimensional poverty among the elderly. It analyzes the current situation, characteristics and disparities of elderly multidimensional poverty in China, integrates relevant domestic policy practices and journal publications, and explores governance pathways for addressing multidimensional poverty among the elderly from the perspective of social capital. The aim is to address elderly poverty, improve the quality of life of the elderly and advance active aging, thereby providing theoretical support and practical references for alleviating elderly poverty.
