Research on Treatment of Shale Gas Fracturing Discharge Liquid with Activated Carbon
Abstract: To address the problem of refractory organic pollutants in shale gas fracturing flowback fluid, this paper adopts inactivated activated carbon as the control group to explore the effects of dosage and adsorption time on the treatment performance of acid-activated activated carbon. Results demonstrated a clear threshold effect of process parameters: at a dosage of 3.33 g/L and an adsorption time of 90 minutes, the organic compound removal rate reached 82.99%, representing the optimal operating conditions. This process is highly practical and can be integrated into combined processes for optimization, providing a technical basis for wastewater pretreatment.
