新文科背景下民办理工类高校英语专业复合型人才培养模式的构建与实践

Construction and Practice of an Interdisciplinary Talent Cultivation Model for English Majors at Private Universities of Science and Technology under the New Liberal Arts Initiative

摘要: 新文科建设背景下，传统英语专业人才培养模式已难以满足区域经济发展对复合型人才的需求。本研究以民办理工类高校英语专业为研究对象，在分析人才培养需求的基础上，构建了涵盖培养目标、课程体系、实践体系和评价体系的复合型人才培养模式，并依托皖北某民办理工类高校开展两个学年的教学实践。通过问卷调查、学生访谈和教师评价，对培养模式实施效果进行了综合分析。研究结果表明，该模式有效促进了课程体系优化和跨学科融合，显著提升了学生英语应用能力、跨文化交际能力、数字素养、实践创新能力和就业适应能力，师生对改革成效总体评价较高。同时，研究发现课程资源、跨学科师资及AI赋能教学仍需进一步完善。据此，提出深化跨学科融合、强化产教融合、加强师资建设、完善多元评价体系和推进智慧教学等优化路径，为民办理工类高校英语专业改革提供参考。

Abstract: Against the backdrop of New Liberal Arts development, the traditional English-major training model can no longer meet the growing demand for interdisciplinary talents driven by regional economic development and industrial transformation. Focusing on English majors at private universities of science and technology, this study developed a multidisciplinary talent cultivation model integrating training objectives, curriculum system, practical teaching, and evaluation system. The model was implemented over two academic years at a private university of science and technology in northern Anhui Province. Its effectiveness was evaluated through questionnaires, student interviews, and teacher evaluations. The findings indicate that the proposed model effectively optimized the curriculum, promoted interdisciplinary integration, and significantly enhanced students’ English proficiency, intercultural communicative competence, digital literacy, practical innovation ability, and employability. Both teachers and students reported high levels of satisfaction with the reform. However, challenges remain in curriculum resource integration, interdisciplinary faculty development, and the application of artificial intelligence in teaching. Based on these findings, this study proposes strategies to deepen interdisciplinary integration, strengthen university-industry collaboration, improve the development of dual-qualified teaching staff, refine diversified assessment systems, and promote AI-enabled smart teaching. The study provides practical implications for English-major curriculum reform and interdisciplinary talent cultivation in private universities under the New Liberal Arts initiative.
