系统功能语言学语境论下翻译分析——以《你当像鸟飞往你的山》汉译本为例

A Translation Analysis Based on Context Theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics—A Case Study of the Chinese Version of Educated

摘要: 本文以系统功能语言学(SFL)的语境论(语场、语旨、语式)为核心理论框架，结合元功能理论，对塔拉·韦斯特弗的自传《你当像鸟飞往你的山》(Educated)的任爱红汉译本进行翻译分析。研究旨在通过分析隐喻意象、人际对话和叙事段落三类典型语料，探究译者在文化语境和情景语境的双重制约下，如何运用文化补偿、语气调整、句式重构等翻译策略，以实现源语与目标语在概念、人际、语篇功能上的协同适配。文章认为，SFL语境论能够有效分析此类隐喻密集型成长自传的跨文化翻译，并验证了译者在翻译实践中形成了语境适配与功能对等的核心逻辑。研究结果旨在为同类文本的翻译实践提供参考，并丰富SFL理论在自传翻译领域的应用案例。

Abstract: This paper takes the context theory (field, tenor, mode) of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) as the core theoretical framework, and combines the metafunction theory to conduct a translation analysis of Ren Aihong’s Chinese translation of Educated, an autobiography written by Tara Westover. By analyzing three typical types of linguistic data, namely metaphorical images, interpersonal dialogues and narrative paragraphs, this study explores how the translator adopts translation strategies including cultural compensation, mood adjustment and sentence restructuring under the dual constraints of cultural context and situational context, so as to achieve the coordinated adaptation of ideational, interpersonal and textual functions between the source language and the target language. This paper argues that the context theory of SFL can effectively analyze the cross-cultural translation of such metaphor-laden coming-of-age autobiographies, and verifies that the translator has formed the core logic of contextual adaptation and functional equivalence in translation practice. The findings of this study intend to provide references for the translation practice of similar texts and enrich the application cases of SFL theory in the field of autobiography translation.
