科普文本汉译中的逻辑再现策略研究——以《地球的尽头》为例

摘要: 本文以《地球的尽头》(Ends of the Earth)的英文原本和汉译本为语料，借助显化和隐化理论，阐述科普类文本汉译中的逻辑表达问题。本文先回顾显化和隐化理论，随后选取案例，进行对比分析，最终得出结论：运用“显化”理论，通过消解指代歧义、增添解释性短语、使用解释性翻译，可以实现词义明晰、语篇连贯。运用“隐化”理论，减少逻辑连接词，适当省略表示结构关系的连接成分，可增强译文可读性。
Abstract: This paper employs explicitation and implicitation to examine logical reproduction of the popular science Ends of the Earth in its Chinese version. It first reviews the relevant theories, then selects five cases for comparative analysis, and finally concludes that the application of explicitation—through resolving referential ambiguities, adding explanatory phrases, and using annotative translation—can achieve clarity of meaning and discourse coherence. Meanwhile, the implicitation is referred to enhance readability by appropriate reduction of logical connectors and omission of elements indicating structural and temporal relationships.
