生成式AI参与下的模因生成机制、内容扩散与价值反思
Meme Generation, Diffusion, and Value Reconsideration under Generative AI: Mechanisms and Implications
摘要: 生成式人工智能参与生成的网络模因在互联网中广泛传播,如“AI山海经”“我的刀盾”梗图以及各种AI二创影视剧片段等,并对信息生态和价值观产生显著影响。生成式人工智能的深度介入,推动着模因创作扩散的人机关系的演变。本文以文生图、文生视频工具产出的AI视觉模因为研究对象,本文系统讨论了AI视觉模因的生成机制、扩散机制及其引发的价值反思与治理路径。在生成层面,AI扮演了三种角色:作为模因符号被用户娱乐化解构;作为原创者依赖算法与数据生成海量原生内容;作为变异者通过结构性与语义性变异实现模因的多元迭代。在扩散层面,AI的扩散主体呈现主体泛化的特征,扩散路径突破线性链式结构,呈现非线性渗透的特征。同时本文基于AI视觉模因的“病毒式传播”进行了价值反思,并指出主体性偏移、文化多样性侵蚀、信息失序等问题和挑战。针对上述问题,本文从技术、用户、政府三个不同主体层面提出协同治理路径。本文希望能够通过梳理AI视觉模因的生产机制,引发人们对技术与人类关系的重新思考和反思,促进生成式人工智能的健康发展,更好地为人所用。
Abstract: Generative AI-generated network memes have spread widely on the internet, such as the “AI Classic of Mountains and Seas” and “My Sword and Shield” memes, as well as various AI-generated film and television clips, significantly impacting the information ecosystem and values. The deep involvement of generative AI is driving the evolution of the human-machine relationship in meme creation and dissemination. This paper focuses on AI visual memes produced by tools like Wensheng Image and Wensheng Video, systematically discussing their generation and diffusion mechanisms, and the resulting value reflections and governance paths. At the generation level, AI plays three roles: as a meme symbol deconstructed and entertaining by users; as a creator relying on algorithms and data to generate massive amounts of original content; and as a mutant achieving diverse iterations of memes through structural and semantic variations. At the diffusion level, the main body of AI diffusion exhibits a generalized characteristic, and the diffusion path breaks through the linear chain structure, exhibiting non-linear penetration characteristics. This paper also reflects on the value of the “viral spread” of AI visual memes, pointing out problems and challenges such as subjectivity shift, cultural diversity erosion, and information disorder. To address these issues, this paper proposes collaborative governance paths from three different subject levels: technology, users, and government. This article aims to stimulate a rethinking and reflection on the relationship between technology and humanity by analyzing the production mechanism of AI visual memes, thereby promoting the healthy development of generative artificial intelligence and enabling it to be better utilized by humans.
