基于OBE理念的土地遥感类学术英语课程设计研究方法探讨
Discussion on Research Methods of Academic English Curriculum Design for Land Remote Sensing Disciplines Based on the OBE Concept
摘要: 本文以OBE (Outcome-Based Education)理念为核心,旨在解决土地与遥感交叉专业本科生在科研思维系统性及学术写作水平方面的不足。通过设计与实施“土地 + 遥感”主题的学术英语课程,构建“基础层–应用层–创新层”的三层课程框架,其中基础层重点在于提升学生在土地与遥感领域的学术用语能力,而应用层则强调科研全过程中英语的实践运用,创新层专注于跨学科研究能力的培养。在教学方法上,本研究结合案例教学、任务驱动与翻转课堂,采用真实科研项目进行论文撰写与项目申报书的模拟训练。同时,建立了“过程性 + 成果性 + 同伴互评 + 行业评价”的四维评估体系,通过课程期间师生反馈不断优化教学内容与方法。本文提出了一套土地与遥感交叉学科的学术英语课程设计方案,旨在探索提升本科生科研思维与学术写作能力的可行路径,以期增强相关学科的国际可见度和人才培养质量。
Abstract: Centered on the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), this paper aims to address the deficiencies of undergraduate students majoring in the interdisciplinary field of land science and remote sensing in systematic scientific research thinking and academic writing competence. By designing and delivering an English for Academic Purposes course themed on “Land Science + Remote Sensing”, the study establishes a three-tier curriculum framework consisting of the foundational layer, application layer and innovation layer. The foundational layer focuses on improving students’ proficiency in academic terminology within the domains of land science and remote sensing; the application layer emphasizes the practical application of English throughout the entire scientific research workflow; the innovation layer is dedicated to fostering students’ interdisciplinary research capabilities. In terms of teaching methodologies, this research integrates case-based teaching, task-driven instruction and flipped classroom pedagogy, and organizes simulated training on academic paper writing and research proposal compilation based on authentic scientific research projects. Meanwhile, a four-dimensional evaluation system incorporating process assessment, outcome assessment, peer review and industrial appraisal is constructed. Teaching contents and instructional approaches are continuously optimized according to feedback exchanged between instructors and students during the course. This paper puts forward a curriculum design scheme of English for Academic Purposes tailored for the interdisciplinary discipline of land science and remote sensing. It intends to explore feasible approaches to enhancing undergraduates’ scientific research thinking and academic writing capacity, and ultimately improve the international visibility of relevant disciplines and the quality of talent cultivation.
