论风格的可译性——从刘宓庆风格标记理论看文学作品的风格传译

On the Translatability of Style—A Study of Style Transmission in Literary Translation from the Perspective of Liu Miqing’s Style Marker Theory

摘要: 风格是否可译是文学翻译的核心问题，对此刘宓庆提出了风格标记理论，对文学作品的风格传译提供了理论依据和实践指导。笔者以该理论为基础，对于各类文学译本中的音系标记、词汇标记、句法标记以及意境标记四个层面进行举例讨论，具体分析风格传递的策略和局限性。结果表明，风格具有可译性，但其程度受译者能力素养与主观理解的影响。

Abstract: Whether style is translatable constitutes a core issue in literary translation. In response to this question, Liu Miqing proposed the Style Marker Theory, which provides both theoretical foundations and practical guidance for the transmission of style in literary translation. On the basis of this theory, this paper examines four dimensions—phonological markers, lexical markers, syntactic markers, and imagery markers—across various literary translations, with illustrative case analyses that specifically address the strategies and limitations of style transmission. The findings indicate that style is translatable, yet the degree of translatability is conditioned by the translator’s competence and subjective interpretation.
