纪埃村语言使用状况调查研究

Investigation and Study on Language Usage in Ji’ai Village

摘要: 纪埃村是一个侗族聚居村，内部交流皆使用侗语，侗语保存较好，但在年轻一代中，已开始出现侗语、普通话和汉语方言并用现象，侗语的使用空间受到挤压。笔者通过田野调查考察纪埃村的语言使用状况，发现纪埃村侗语传承呈现情感认同强烈、价值认同较弱、使用场景萎缩的三重特征。本文认为，这是当地物质环境、人口主体环境以及文化环境共同作用的结果。为加强纪埃村侗语的良性保护与传承，当地政府和村民应当协同起来，通过健全侗语保护机制、提倡校园双语教育等措施，及时干预与挽救当前情况，促进侗语的可持续发展。

Abstract: Ji’ai Village is a settlement predominantly inhabited by the Dong people, where communication within the community relies entirely on the Dong language, which remains well-preserved, However, among the younger generation, there is a growing trend of co-using the Dong language alongside Mandarin and other Chinese dialects, leading to a decline in its usage. Through field research on language use in Ji’ai Village, the author identified three key characteristics of Dong language preservation: strong emotional attachment, weak value identification, and a reduction in practical applications. This phenomenon, the study argues, results from the combined effects of the local physical environment, demographic composition, and cultural context. To ensure the sustainable preservation and transmission of the Dong language, local authorities and villagers should collaborate by establishing robust protection mechanisms, promoting bilingual education in schools—taking timely measures to address current challenges and foster long-term sustainability.
