Analyzing the Identity Fraud in New Life through Jung’s Archetypal Theory

摘要: 影视剧《新生》以主角费可编织的身份骗局为核心叙事，通过封闭空间内的多视角回溯，构建了一幅“全员假面”的社会生存图景，成为折射现代人生存困境的典型影像文本。本文以荣格的人格面具理论为核心框架，结合阴影、自性化等概念，对剧作的身份叙事展开系统解读。费可的人格面具并非凭空捏造，而是受害者内心阴影与欲望的精准外化，随着追思会中面具的逐层剥落，被压抑的贪婪、虚荣等全部暴露，真正的“新生”在于对真实自我的接纳，而非戴上新的面具。论文通过“原型–叙事”互证，引出对现代人精神状态的反思，也为影视文学的心理学批评提供了新的研究思路。

Abstract: The TV series New Life centers its narrative around the identity fraud orchestrated by the protagonist Fei Ke, constructing a social survival scenario of “all wearing masks” through multi-perspective retrospectives within a confined space, thereby serving as a typical cinematic text reflecting modern existential dilemmas. This paper adopts Jung’s theory of the persona as its core framework, integrating concepts such as the shadow and individuation to provide a systematic interpretation of the series identity narrative. Fei Ke’s persona is not fabricated out of thin air but rather represents the precise externalization of the victim’s inner shadow and desires; as the masks are layer by layer stripped off during the memorial session, repressed traits such as greed and vanity are fully exposed, revealing that true “new life” lies in the acceptance of one’s authentic self rather than donning new masks. By employing the intercorrelation between “archetypes and narrative,” this paper prompts reflections on the mental state of contemporary individuals and offers new research perspectives for the psychological criticism of film and television literature.
