Abstract: Against the backdrop of deep integration of digital technology and mental health services, “digital-mental integration” has emerged as a significant paradigm in the mental health field. Master’s students face structural difficulties characterized by high cognitive load, high psychological defensiveness, and low willingness to seek help, making traditional services insufficient to effectively address their needs. This study focuses on the AI psychological robot “Xiaoxin”, which adopts Yi-Shu Psychodrama as its theoretical core and integrates multimodal physiological monitoring with large language model technology to construct a four-layer penetrative intervention model encompassing “consciousness analysis → artistic experience → subconscious emotional reshaping → behavioral training”. This paper explores the topic from three aspects: theoretical logic, mechanisms of action, and practical boundaries. It elucidates the paradigmatic value of “digital-mental integration”, reveals the digital transformation of psychodrama and the human-robot empathic mechanisms of the AI robot, analyzes ethical risks such as privacy breaches and emotional deception, and proposes a three-dimensional collaborative optimization path involving technology, usage, and governance. The study indicates that AI psychological robots are not meant to replace counselors but serve as collaborators within the service system, with their core value lying in expanding coverage, enhancing crisis identification accuracy, and providing sustained companionship. The essential proposition of “digital-mental integration” is not machines replacing humans, but rather human-robot collaboration to maximize service efficacy.
