Social Support and Digital Empowerment: A Study on the Dilemmas and Pathways of Digital Inclusion for the Rural Elderly Group

摘要: 在数字乡村建设与积极应对人口老龄化国家战略协同推进的背景下，农村老年群体的数字融入成为弥合城乡数字鸿沟、实现老年社会参与及晚年福祉提升的关键议题。本研究聚焦农村老年群体数字融入现实图景，系统剖析其在接入、使用、素养及社会参与层面的现状。研究发现，农村老年群体面临个体数字能力不足、家庭代际支持弱化、社区公共服务缺位、社会资源分配不均的多重困境；最终构建以家庭、社区、政府、平台多元协同为核心，社会支持保障与数字赋能相结合的实践路径。研究旨在为破解农村老年数字困境、促进老年群体数字融入、推动积极老龄化提供一定的理论视角。

Abstract: Against the backdrop of the coordinated advancement of digital rural construction and the active aging strategy, the digital integration of the rural elderly has become a key issue for bridging the urban-rural digital divide, facilitating elderly social participation and improving their well-being in later life. This study focuses on the realistic situation of digital integration among the rural elderly and systematically analyzes their current conditions in terms of digital access, practical usage, digital literacy and social participation. The research reveals that the rural elderly are confronted with multiple predicaments including insufficient individual digital capabilities, weakened intergenerational family support, inadequate community public services and unbalanced allocation of social resources. Ultimately, this study constructs a practical path centered on multi-subject coordination among families, communities, governments and digital platforms, which integrates social support guarantee and digital empowerment. It aims to provide theoretical references for resolving the digital dilemmas of the rural elderly, promoting their digital integration and advancing the implementation of active aging.
