知识翻译学视角下《哈利·波特》中的魔法咒语翻译探究

Exploration of the Translation of Magic Spells in Harry Potter from the Perspective of Transknowletology

摘要: 本文从知识翻译学的视角下，分析探究了奇幻小说《哈利·波特》中魔法咒语的翻译策略，发现译者在翻译的过程中遵循了知识翻译学中理论视域下的知识传递过程与翻译实践角度的“真”“善”“美”三原则，从而达到了地方性知识的世界性转变与升华，完成了其在小说中传递原文信息，构建魔法语境，烘托奇幻氛围的作用。同时，本文借魔咒翻译探讨了在专有名词翻译中的知识呈递与传播过程，并认为在这一过程中，译者能力的知识翻译学阐释中翻译程序性知识是更为突出的因素。

Abstract: From the perspective of Transknowletology, this paper analyzes and explores the translation strategies of magical spells in the novel Harry Potter. It is found that in the process of translation, the translator follows the knowledge transfer process under the theoretical horizon of Transknowletology, and adheres to the three principles of “truth,” “goodness,” and “beauty” from the angle of translation practice. This approach achieves a global transformation and sublimation of local knowledge, as well as effectively conveys the original information in the novel, constructs a magical context, and enhances the atmosphere of fantasy. Meanwhile, this paper discusses the process of knowledge presentation and dissemination in the translation of proper nouns through the lens of magical spell translation, and argues that in this process, procedural knowledge in translation, as elucidated in Transknowletology, is a more prominent factor in translator competence.
