新工科背景下环境工程专业外语工程实践与科研前沿双融合教学行动研究

A Teaching Action Research on the Dual Integration of Engineering Practice and Research Frontiers in Environmental Engineering Professional English under the Background of New Engineering Education

摘要: 针对当前环境工程专业外语教学存在内容脱离工程实际、学科前沿融入不足、学生英文应用能力薄弱等问题，本文提出“工程实践筑基、科研前沿赋能”的双融合教学改革思路。通过重构教学内容、引入工程案例与前沿科技成果、搭建项目驱动式双语实践体系、优化考核机制，在一定程度上改善传统教学固化弊端。实践表明，该模式可有效提升学生专业英文阐释与文献研读能力，契合行业国际化人才培养需求，可为工科专业外语教学改革提供参考。

Abstract: Addressing the prevalent issues in current Environmental Engineering Professional Foreign Language teaching, including disconnection from engineering practice, insufficient integration of scientific frontiers, and weak English application competence of students, this paper proposes a dual-integration reform approach featuring engineering practice foundation building and scientific frontiers empowerment. By reconstructing teaching content, introducing engineering cases and cutting-edge research achievements, establishing a project-driven bilingual practice system, and optimizing the assessment mechanism, the reform alleviates the drawbacks of traditional teaching to a certain extent. Practice demonstrates that this model contributes to enhancing students’ professional English interpretation and literature reading abilities, aligns with the demand for cultivating internationally-oriented professionals, and provides a reference for professional foreign language teaching reform in engineering disciplines.
