Designing and Implementing AI-Empowered Practical Training in English Writing Instruction

摘要: 有效的语言技能实训对提升英语专业学生的关键能力培养十分重要。本研究以产出导向法教学理论为指导，探讨AI赋能英语写作实训教学的设计与实施。教学设计注重培养AI时代所需外语人才的关键能力，运用AI赋能搭建操练学生写作技能的“驱动–促成–评价”动态支架，引导学生运用AI辅助写作。随后，开展教学实践和实证研究。研究结果显示，AI辅助写作教学模式能提升英语专业学生的关键能力培养，尤其是能显著提升学生的数字素养。本研究为英语写作教学提供了可借鉴的设计思路和实践范式。

Abstract: Effective language skill training is critical for cultivating English majors’ key competencies. Using Production-Oriented Approach (POA), this study explores the design and implementation of AI-empowered practical training in English writing instruction. For cultivating the key competencies required for foreign language talents in AI era, with the assistance of AI, we construct a dynamic “motivating-enabling-assessing” scaffold for students to practice their writing skills, guiding them to use AI to assist their writing. Subsequently, we implement a teaching practice and conduct empirical research. The results indicate that the AI-assisted writing instruction model enhances students’ key competencies and significantly improves students’ digital literacy. This study provides design ideas and a practical paradigm for English writing teaching.
