《唐故正议大夫行历阳郡太守上柱国舒国公褚府君墓志铭》相关问题研究

A Study of Issues Concerning “The Epitaph of the Late Lord Chu of the Tang Dynasty, Grand Master for Upright Counsel, Serving as Prefect of Liyang Commandery, Supreme Pillar of State, and Duke of Shu”

摘要: 褚庭询墓志保存了墓主的家世、科第、仕履及卒葬信息。本文以墓志拓片录文为中心，结合苏颋所撰褚无量神道碑及两《唐书》《资治通鉴》《唐会要》等典籍，在顾飞考释的基础上，对褚氏家族世系与郡望源流、父官右散骑常侍、科第纪年与生卒互证、恒阳军使等军政任职、鲁郡笞人案件的法律处置以及卒葬空间与籍贯认同诸问题作专题考辨，进一步挖掘墓志独载的制度与史实价值，补前说之未备。

Abstract: Chu Tingxun’s epitaph preserves information about his family background, examination success, official career, death, and burial. Centering on the transcription of the epitaph rubbing, this study draws on Su Ting’s spirit-road inscription for Chu Wuliang, the Old Book of Tang, the New Book of Tang, the Comprehensive Mirror for Aid in Government, and the Institutional History of Tang. Building on Gu Fei’s interpretation, it examines the Chu family’s genealogy and ancestral commandery affiliations; Chu Wuliang’s appointment as Right Cavalier Attendant-in-Ordinary; the relationship between examination chronology and the inferred dates of Chu Tingxun’s birth and death; his military and civil appointments, including command of the Hengyang Army; the legal handling of the fatal flogging case in Lu Commandery; and the relationship between places of death and burial and native-place identity. The study seeks to elucidate the epitaph’s distinctive value as evidence for Tang institutions and historical events and to supplement earlier research.
