From “Surface Appropriation” to “Spiritual Inheritance”: The Integration of Traditional Culture and Contemporary Film and Television Culture

摘要: 当前，传统文化的当代表达已成为重要的文化议题，中华传统文化与当代影视文化的融合也成为文化发展的重要趋势。中国源远流长的传统文化为影视创作提供了深厚底蕴，文艺也为传统文化传承提供了新载体。但许多电影在借用中国传统文化符号时，存在混淆中华传统文化精神内核的问题。在跨文化传播语境中，应关注不同文化影响下的意义协商与本土文化主体性。传统文化与影视文化的融合要以精神传承为核心，不能只停留在表面使用传统文化符号，而应在影视创作中进一步关注传统文化精神与当代叙事之间的有效衔接。

Abstract: At present, the contemporary expression of traditional culture has become an important cultural issue, and the integration of Chinese traditional culture with contemporary film and television culture has also emerged as a significant trend in cultural development. China’s long-standing traditional culture provides a rich foundation for film and television creation, while literary and artistic production offers new vehicles for the inheritance and transmission of traditional culture. However, when many films borrow traditional Chinese cultural symbols, they suffer from the problem of confusing the spiritual core of traditional Chinese culture. In the context of cross-cultural communication, greater attention should be paid to the negotiation of meaning under the influence of different cultures and to the subjectivity of local culture. The integration of traditional culture and film and television culture should take spiritual inheritance as its core; it should not merely remain at the surface level of using traditional cultural symbols, but should further focus, in film and television creation, on the effective connection between traditional cultural spirit and contemporary narrative.
