The Influence Mechanism of Tourism Product Purchase Intention in the Context of Live Streaming E-Commerce
Abstract: This study aims to explore the influence mechanism of tourism product consumers’ purchase intention in the context of live streaming e-commerce. Based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, a research model is constructed with interactivity and immersion as independent variables, perceived value as a mediating variable, and purchase intention as the dependent variable. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey, with 206 valid questionnaires returned. Regression analysis and a bootstrap mediation effect test were employed to test the research hypotheses. The results show that both interactivity and immersion have a significant positive impact on purchase intention; both interactivity and immersion have a significant positive impact on perceived value; perceived value has a significant positive impact on purchase intention and plays a mediating role between interactivity, immersion, and purchase intention. The findings extend the application boundary of the SOR theory in the field of live streaming e-commerce and provide practical references for tourism enterprises to optimize their live streaming marketing strategies.
