Mediating Effect of Future Time Perspective on Relationships between Conscientiousness and Vitality in College Students

摘要: 目的：研究大学生未来时间洞察力在尽责性和活力之间的中介作用。方法：随机抽选257名大学生，分别使用中国大五人格问卷简式版(CBF-PI-B)和主观活力量表(Subjective Vitality Scale)、未来时间洞察力问卷(The General Future Time Perspective Scale)中文版对被试尽责性、活力及未来时间洞察力进行测量。结果：未来时间洞察力和尽责性皆对活力有正向预测作用，在控制了未来时间洞察力对活力的影响之后，尽责性对活力的预测作用变得不显著(β值从0.290下降至−0.004，p > 0.05)。结论：未来时间洞察力可能在尽责性和活力之间起完全中介作用。
Abstract: Objective: To research the mediating effect of the future time perspective on relationship between conscientiousness and vitality in college students. Method: Totally 257 college students randomly were chosen. And then, their conscientiousness, vitality and future time perspective were surveyed with Chinese Big Five Personality Inventory Brief Version (CBF-PI-B), Subjective vitality Scale (SVS) and The General Future Time Perspective Scale. Results: Regression analysis implied positive predictability of conscientiousness and future time perspective to vitality. Conscientiousness had insignificant predictability (β value decreased from 0.290 to −0.004, p > 0.05). Conclusion: The result of the research shows that future time perspective probably has a complete mediating effect between conscientiousness and vitality.
