Abstract: The main method for the treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer is radiotherapy, but it causes some sequelae, and hyposalivation is still a major problem after radiotherapy for head and neck cancer. Xerostomia seriously affects the quality of life of patients. It is important to study the mechanism for preventing and treating xerostomia after radiotherapy.
