“沈从文体”辨析及其翻译模式探讨

On Shen Congwen Style and Its Translation Models

摘要: “沈从文体”是沈从文应用于小说、散文创作的语言修辞风格。文学作品翻译时，译文不应只是信息的传递，还需传达属于作者的独特风格。风格虽是抽象的概念，但其由具体形式标记——字、词、句编织而成，因此可以通过转换字、词、句翻译风格。翻译转换“沈从文体”可以参考三种模式：对应式换码，重建式换码和淡化式换码。其中，对应式换码是最常见的换码方式，适用于在目的语中能够找到对应形式标记的情况；淡化式换码是译者向两语间语言文化障碍的妥协；重建式换码要求译者发挥更大的主体性，在把握原文风格和目的语语言文化特征的基础上，重新构建风格。

Abstract: Shen Congwen Style refers to particular language and diction style in novel and prose. In translating literature works, the translator should convey not only the mere information, but also the particular style of the author. Although style is an abstract concept, it can be translated by decoding the style markers in words or characters, phrases and sentences. Three models can be used to render Shen Congwen Style: corresponding, decolouring and recasting. Among the three, corresponding is the most common model and it works well with cases in which corresponding style markers can be found in target language; decolouring is actually a compromise made for the block of language and culture in two languages; recasting requires a better subjectivity from translators since it asks translators to recast the style on the base of mastering both style in original works and feature in target languages.
