二语习得过程中母语的正迁移作用—以《现代汉语》课程教学为例
Positive Transfer of Mother Tongue in Second Language Acquisition—A Case Study of Teaching Modern Chinese
摘要: 第二语言的学习涉及学习者原有的语言知识,学习者会利用母语来理解和建构新的知识。同样,中国学生在学习英语的过程中也会受到其母语——汉语的影响和制约。为了论证汉语基础知识和汉语水平对英语学习的正迁移作用,笔者在本论文中对英语专业学生进行了问卷调查和访谈,通过翻译测试获得定量数据,并使用SPSS17.0软件对收集的数据进行对比分析,从而得出《现代汉语》课程无论是对提高大学英语专业学生的汉语言文化修养,还是对提高他们的英语翻译水平都起着至关重要的作用。
Abstract: Second language study often involves into learner’s original knowledge, with which they can un-derstand and construct a new knowledge. Meanwhile, Chinese students are influenced and limited by the level of their mother tongue in learning English. This thesis carries out an empirical study on the correlation between the learner’s Chinese proficiency and English learning by the method of the questionnaire, individual interview and translating test. With the software SPSS17.0, this statistics and the analysis of the results show that the fundamental theories of Chinese language and the level of Chinese proficiency have a positive transfer on learning English. Therefore, it is necessary that English major should be offered Modern Chinese, for the key role it plays in improving the Chinese language culture and the translating ability of the English majors.
