Mollaret Meningitis after Cerebrospinal Fluid Shunt: A Case Report

摘要: 目的：探讨Mollaret脑膜炎的临床和脑脊液特点。方法：回顾性分析一例Mollaret脑膜炎患者的临床资料。结果：患者临床表现为头痛、发热和脑膜刺激征，给予镇痛药和地塞米松治疗后一周缓解。脑脊液检查显示白细胞720/μl，淋巴细胞占71%，蛋白1.81 g/L，葡萄糖2.23 mmol/L，氯化物121 mmol/L。6年前曾行脑脊液分流术。结论：Mollaret脑膜炎是一种少见疾病，病程短暂，早期识别是非常有价值的。

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical and cerebrospinal fluid features of Mollaret meningitis. Methods: The clinical data of a patient with Mollaret meningitis was retrospectively analyzed. Re-sults: The patient presented with recurrent headache, fever and meningeal irritation sign, which could be relieved by painkillers and dexamethasone for one week. Cerebrospinal fluid examination showed that leucocyte was 720/μl, lymphocyte was 71%, protein level was 1.81 g/L, glucose was 2.23 mmol/L, and chloride was 121 mmol/L. She had a cerebrospinal bypass six years ago. Conclusions: Mollaret meningitis is a rare disease whose course is transient. It is very valuable to recognize Mollaret meningitis in earlier stage.
