企业高层团队特征与国际化关系研究——基于我国信息服务业上市公司的分析
The Impacts of Top Management Team’s Demographic Characteristics on the Internationalization of Listed Information Service Companies in China
摘要: 随着全球经济一体化的迅猛发展,国际化成为我国信息服务业发展的方向。文章选取沪深两市93家信息服务业上市公司作为研究对象,采用非平衡面板数据进行分析,研究高层管理团队传记性特征对公司国际化水平的影响。研究结果显示:高层管理团队的平均受教育水平、年龄异质性和任期异质性对公司国际化水平具有显著正向影响,平均年龄、平均任期和受教育水平异质性对公司国际化水平具有显著负向影响。
Abstract: With the rapid development of global economic integration, internationalization has become the direction for the development of China’s information service industry. This paper takes 93 infor-mation service industry companies listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange as research samples, and discusses the impact of the top management team demographic characteristics on the internationalization by unbalanced panel data. The results show that mean educational level, age heterogeneity and tenure heterogeneity of TMT have significantly positive impacts on the in-ternationalization, but mean age, mean tenure and educational level heterogeneity have significant negative impacts on the internationalization.
