Abstract:
The Book of Changes and Taiji embody the way in which Chinese people know the world. This way has much in common with Husserl’s phenomenological way of knowing the world. The theories and methods of perception, intuitive behavior, representational behavior, interactive subject and reduction advocated by phenomenology can be embodied in the Book of Changes and Taiji. This paper focuses on the phenomenological significance, static and dynamic intentions, images and meanings of the Book of Changes and Taiji. Interactive subject, phenomenological reduction and so on are elaborated.
