从目的论角度试析《伤寒论》中医方剂名称的英译——以罗希文版本和魏廼杰版本为例

On Translation of TCM Formulas inShanghanlun from Perspective of Skopos Theory—Based on Luo Xiwen Version and Niger Wiseman Version

摘要: 随着“一带一路”战略的持续深入，中医作为国家文化软实力的一部分日益受到国内外的重视。《伤寒论》作为中医的四大经典之一，虽然历经多次翻译，但是由于译者文化背景的差异，各英译版本的翻译大相径庭。其中中医方剂名称和术语拥有独特的中华民族文化内涵，因而也就成为了翻译中的重点和难点。通过结合翻译目的论原则，探讨和分析罗希文和魏廼杰两版对《伤寒论》部分中医方剂名称的翻译，以期推动中医经典著作翻译的标准化工作，助力“中医走出去”。

Abstract: With the comprehensive practice of Belt and Road Initiative, Traditional Chinese Medicine has played a more important role in gaining greater attention from home and abroad and displaying the national soft strength worldwide. As one of the Four Classics in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghanlun has been translated into several versions. However, due to the diverse culture background of every translator, each version is quite different from each other, among which the TCM formulas and terms become the most difficult part considering their unique Chinese cultural core. From the perspective of Skopos Theory, this paper discussed translation methods adopted by Luo and Wiseman for TCM formulas in Shanghanlun with the hope to boost the standardization of TCM classic translation and transmission of TCM culture.
