网络时代外语课程设置与教学的特点及优势

Characteristics and Advantages of EFL Curriculum and Instruction in an Era of the Internet

摘要: 互联网作为20世纪的一项重大科学发明，引发了人类社会的深刻变化，对千百年来传统的语言课程和教学产生了重大而深远的影响。本文通过文献研究法，分析探讨互联网给外语教育带来的变革，分析互联网时代外语课程与教学的特点，探究网络信息技术应用于外语教学引发的两大问题，旨在帮助广大外语教师深入了解网络环境下外语课程与教学的优势，充分利用网络信息技术为外语教学服务。

Abstract: As a major scientific invention in the 20th century, the Internet has brought about profound changes in human society, and has produced a significant and far-reaching impact on the traditional language curriculum and instruction which has lasted for hundreds of years. Through the method of literature research, this paper attempts to explore the changes brought about by the Internet to foreign language education, analyze the characteristics of EFL curriculum and instruction in the Internet era, and discuss two major problems arising from the application of network information technology in EFL teaching. The purpose of this study is to help EFL teachers understand the advantages of EFL curriculum and instruction in the Internet contexts, and make full use of network information technology to serve EFL teaching.
