Abstract: Suicide ideation, as an important evaluation index of suicide risk, is of great significance to the assessment and early warning of suicide risk. Previous studies have found that goal frustration is an important influencing factor of adolescent suicide ideation. This paper reviewed the causes of suicide ideation in adolescent from the perspective of goal frustration and the related theories of impact mechanism, and summarized the insufficiency of research, and looked forward to future research directions.
