宁夏吴忠–灵武地区5级以上地震前的ML ≥ 3.0级地震活动特征

Characteristic of Seismic Activity of Earthquakes with ML ≥ 3.0 before Earthquakes with M ≥ 5.0 in Wuzhong-Lingwu of Ningxia

摘要: 本文通过对宁夏吴忠–灵武地区1970年以来几次5级以上地震前的ML ≥ 3.0级地震活动特征进行分析，得出了该区域5级以上地震发生前的ML ≥ 3.0级地震活动规律和定量化指标，并应用该指标检查了该区域其它时段的ML ≥ 3.0级地震活动情况。结果表明，该指标适合应用于判定该区域5级以上地震的发生，本文的研究可为今后该区域的震情判定和地震预测提供重要的参考。

Abstract: Based on analysis of characteristics of earthquakes with ML ≥ 3.0 before earthquakes with ML ≥ 5.0 in Wuzhong-Lingwu of Ningxia since 1970, the rule and quantification index of seismic activity of earthquakes with ML ≥ 3.0 before these earthquakes with M ≥ 5.0 in the region are obtained, and this index was used to check activity of earthquakes with ML ≥ 3.0 in other time in the region. The results show that this index is suitable for determining the occurrence of earthquakes with M ≥ 5.0 in the region. The research of this paper would provide important reference for seismic determine and earthquake prediction in this area.
