外宣翻译教学中译者主体性意识培养策略探究
A Study on the Cultivation of Translator’s Subjectivity Consciousness in Translation of Materials for International Publicity

外宣翻译中译者是应该坚持翻译界传统的“忠实”,还是应该为了实现更好的交际效果,充分考虑原文的精神主旨、翻译的目的和受众对象;为提高外国读者的接受度,积极发挥译者主体性呢?在外宣翻译教学中,这成为困扰很多学生的一个问题。在当前的外宣翻译教学中,学生往往缺乏译者主体性意识,因此不能很好地胜任外宣翻译任务。本文结合外宣翻译特点论述了外宣译者发挥主体性的重要性,分析了学生缺乏译者主体性意识的原因,并提出了外宣翻译教学中培养学生译者主体性意识的具体教学策略。
Abstract:
In the translation of materials for international publicity, should translators mechanically abide by the criteria of “faithfulness” or actively exert translators’ subjectivity in order to achieve better communication effect and improve the acceptance of foreign readers by taking into account the purport of original text, the purpose of translation and the target readers? In the teaching of translation of materials for international publicity, students are often confused by this. In the teaching of translation of materials for international publicity, students often lack the translator’s subjectivity consciousness, therefore they are not qualified for the task of international publicity-aimed translation. Based on the characteristics of international publicity-aimed translation, this paper discusses the importance of translators’ subjectivity in international publicity-aimed translation, analyses the reasons why students lack the translators’ subjectivity consciousness, and puts forward specific teaching strategies for cultivating students’ subjectivity consciousness in international publicity-aimed translation.
