认知构式语法视阈下的英汉中动构式对比研究
Comparative Study on English and Chinese Middle Construction under the Perspective of Cognitive Construction Grammar

摘要: 本文运用认知构式语法的观点，对中动构式从多维度进行了综合界定，并论述了中动构式的五个典型特征及其语用解读。本文结合大量实例，从中动构式的形式及其构件对比分析英语中动构式和汉语中动构式的异同。进一步提出汉语中动构式主语、中动词和修饰语的多样性和复杂性是造成汉语中动构式能产性高于英语中动构式的主要原因。
Abstract: Based on the viewpoints of Cognitive Construction Grammar, this article gives a comprehensive definition of Middle Construction from the dimensions of syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, and expounds five typical features of Middle Construction as well as its pragmatic interpretation. With a lot of examples from both BLU Corpus Center (BCC) and previous studies, the article compares English and Chinese Middle Construction in terms of their different forms and their components, i.e. subjects, mid-verbs and modifiers respectively. It is the diversity and the complexity of subjects, mid-verbs and modifiers in the Chinese Middle Construction that make it more productive than English Middle Construction.
