环荆州古城珍稀鸟类和两栖类多样性初探

Preliminary Investigation on Rare Birds and Amphibians in Jingzhou Ancient City

摘要: 荆州古城是著名的历史文化名城，古城墙四围的自然生境丰富。本研究为了解这一区域的动物类群结构，采用样线法重复对古城墙附近的鸟类和两栖类进行调查，连续两年的野外观察共记录到珍稀鸟类21种，两栖类7种。其中，国家一级保护鸟类1种，其它20种鸟类均为国家二级保护鸟类或被CITES公约及IUCN红色名录列为重点保护鸟类。此次调查所获取的本底资料，有助于推动城市动物多样性保护，为建设生态文明城市和保护城市生境多样性提供理论依据。

Abstract: Jingzhou is a famous historical and cultural city in China. Birds and amphibians considered as indicators of ecological environment are rich and diverse in this region. Filed investigations on birds and amphibians were conducted during two consecutive years in the area enclosed by an-cient wall. A total of 21 rare bird species and 7 anura amphibian species were recorded. Among the rare birds recorded, one species was listed as national grade-one protected wildlife in China, and the remaining species were listed either in national grade-two protected species or in IUCN red list (more than Near Threatened). Seven amphibians recorded were “useful or important species to economy and scientific research” species in China. This study would provide insights into the bio-diversity conservation and ecological environmental civilization construction for this historical city.
