Temporal Structure in Attention: Selective Temporal Attention
Abstract: Selective temporal attention is a neglected area of research in the past. It is the process of opti-mizing behavior by focusing attention on a certain point or period of time based on task-related information. This paper briefly reviews the classification of selective time attention studies and the corresponding research methods, as well as the possible neural mechanisms behind them.
