变异语用学视角下TED演讲中幽默言语分析

Analysis of Humorous Utterances in TED under Variational Pragmatics

摘要: 变异语用学是语用学中最新兴的交叉学科之一，旨在探索同一语言不同变体的语用规约和表现形式的异同。它所关注的是(地域和社会)空间变化引发的语言交际和语言内部语用变异问题，属于语用学与方言学的结合。而作为人类共有沟通方式的幽默言语，随着跨文化交际活动的日益频繁，国内外对它的研究也逐渐增多，但实际上幽默言语尚未形成系统化、理论化的研究。为我们所熟知的TED演讲，其演讲者大多使用幽默言语来赢得听众的共鸣。为了更好地理解TED演讲中的幽默言语，揭示作者意图及其蕴含的深刻含义，本文将选取TED演讲中公认的具有幽默代表性的演讲为例，逐一分析幽默语言特征，旨在通过文献研究、样例分析等方法，基于变异语用学的新视角，分析演讲者运用幽默言语的意图，探究幽默语言在TED演讲中的作用，在此基础上为英语演讲者提出相关建议。

Abstract: Variational pragmatics, one of the youngest branches of pragmatics, studies the different pragmatic values of items across varieties, and the different realizations of the same pragmatic function across varieties through different forms . It focuses on the problems of language communication and in-ternal pragmatic variation caused by spatial changes, which belongs to the combination of pragmat-ics and dialectology . As a common way of human communication, humorous utterances, with the increasing frequency of cross-cultural communication activities, has been studied more and more at home and abroad, but in fact, it has not formed a systematic and theoretical study . And most of the speakers invited by the well-known TED use humorous words. In order to better understand the Ted speech, this paper will focus on the role of humorous utterances, based on the new perspective of variational pragmatics, through literature research, sample analysis. On this basis, some suggestions are put forward for English speakers to promote their speech ability.
