航海英语中人体部位类词汇的汉译策略
Chinese Translation Strategies of the Vocabulary of Human Body Parts in Nautical English
摘要:
航海英语作为专门用途英语，涉及诸多领域，包含大量的专业词汇。而人类身体部位类词汇作为航海英语中常见的专业词汇，在船舶驾驶、电子电气等诸多领域中被赋予了特殊含义。本文从人体部位类词汇的构成特点和原由出发，探讨该类词汇在航海英语中的汉译策略。
Abstract:
Nautical English, as English for special purposes, involves many fields and contains a large number of professional terms. As a common professional vocabulary in nautical English, the vocabulary of human body parts has been given special meanings in many fields such as navigation, electronics and electricity. This paper discusses the translation strategies of the vocabulary of human body parts in nautical English from the perspective of its formation characteristics and origins.
