Overview of Social Kindness
Abstract: Social kindness is the right of individuals to care, respect and protect the choices of others in interpersonal interactions, which can be measured by the SoMi paradigm. Cognitive factors such as psychological theory and perspective taking, and personality factors such as empathy and social orientation will affect the expression of social kindness. In addition, the expression of social kindness is also affected by factors such as the interacting people and social class. This paper focuses on the promotion of social kindness to cooperative behavior, which is influenced by interpersonal distance, trust, positive emotion and perceived need for help. In the future, the relevant factors that affect the expression of social kindness should be deeply explored.
