Abstract: Objective: To strengthen the understanding of relapsing polychondritis, which mainly affects the respiratory system and its early diagnosis. Methods: Through a brief description of a patient with relapsing polychondritis whose symptoms were mainly manifested in the respiratory system, the diagnosis and treatment process from misdiagnosis to diagnosis was introduced to understand the diagnosis, treatment and outcome of the disease. Results: The patient was diagnosed earlier, and the efficacy and prognosis of hormone therapy were good. Conclusion: Relapsing polychondritis, which is mainly manifested by the respiratory system, can be diagnosed early, and the use of hormone therapy can improve the clinical symptoms and delay the progression of the disease.
