Abstract: Lung aspiration of gastric contents is a serious complication during perioperative period, and it is especially important to evaluate the risk of aspiration during perioperative period. With the improvement of the application of gastrointestinal ultrasound technology, there have been many studies and reports on the application of ultrasound qualitative and quantitative evaluation of gastric contents in recent years. This paper focuses on the application value and progress of gastric ultrasound in perioperative evaluation of gastric contents, and the existing disputes and prospects to improve its application value.
