藏族数字“十三”的象征人类学解读

The Symbolic Anthropological Interpretation of the Tibetan Number 13

摘要: 纵观整个藏族社会，在以宗教为主导的藏族文明系统中，多半事物都与宗教有着密不可分的联系，且在一定的宗教文化领域具有一定的象征意义。在藏民族文化中，对数字是以“喜单忌双”为原则，即对单数数字比较崇尚、偏爱，尤以对“十三”的崇尚最为普遍，对双数数字则表现出忌讳。全文通过对数字十三问题的提出与象征的分析，及内涵的剖析三个方面对藏族数字“十三”的含意体系予以分析。

Abstract: Throughout the Tibetan society, in the system of Tibetan civilization dominated by religion, most things are closely related to religion, and have certain symbolic significance in certain religious and cultural fields. In Tibetan culture, the principle of “liking single number and avoiding double num-ber” is adopted, that is, the advocation and preference for singular number, especially the advoca-tion of “thirteen” is the most common, while the taboo of even number is displayed. This paper ana-lyzes the meaning system of the Tibetan number “13” from three aspects: the proposal and symbol-ic analysis of the number “13” and the analysis of its connotation.
