钱歌川“通达”翻译观下的典故翻译研究——以《红楼梦》第五回秦可卿卧室摆设为例

On Allusion Translation under the Guidance of Qian Gechuan’s Translation View of Fluency and Expressiveness—A Case Study on Qin Keqin’s Bedroom Decoration, a Part in Chapter 5 of The Story of the Stone

摘要: 良好的典故翻译在中国文化“走出去”过程中发挥积极作用。本文跳出《红楼梦》典故翻译研究围绕翻译策略而展开的窠臼，从典故翻译指导思想入手，结合钱歌川“通达”翻译观，对用典丰富的秦可卿卧室摆设部分的霍克斯译文进行研究。通过人名与句子两个维度的翻译分析，有助于激发《红楼梦》典故翻译研究者的思考新方向。

Abstract: Great allusion translation plays a positive role in the process of Chinese culture “go global”. This paper gets rid of the old fashion of centering translation strategies in the study of allusion translation. Under the guidance of ideas on allusion translation, the author combined the translation thoughts of Qian Gechuan, namely fluent and expressive, to study the translation of Qin Keqing’s bedroom decoration introduction which is rich in allusions. Through the analysis of the name translation and sentence translation, the study will be helpful to enlighten those in study of allusion translation in The Story of the Stone.
