从TEM-8翻译考试看英语专业学生翻译能力的培养
The Cultivation of English Majors’ Translation Competence from the TEM-8 Translation Test
摘要:
英语专业八级考试(TEM-8)是衡量英语专业学生外语水平的重要标准之一。然而,从翻译题的得分率来看,学生的翻译能力还有待提高,英语专业翻译教学仍不容乐观。结合翻译能力界定,本文尝试分析英语专业学生翻译能力的欠缺,并对翻译教学中可采取的具体措施进行了思考。
Abstract:
TEM-8 is one of the important standards for measuring the foreign language proficiency of English majors. However, judging from the scoring rate of translation exam, students’ translation competence needs to be improved, and translation teaching for English majors is still not optimistic. Combined with the definition of translation competence, this paper attempts to analyze the lack of translation competence of English majors, and considers specific measures that can be taken in translation teaching.
