Abstract: The clinicopathological data of a patient with ulcerative colitis (UC) after implantation of prostatic cancer (PC) radioactive seeds (125I) in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed, to strengthen the understanding of blood in the stool after PC radioactive seeds implantation. When diarrhea and blood in the stool occur after PC radioactive seed implantation, we should be aware of the possibility of UC in addition to radiation colitis. Colonoscopy should be performed for early diagnosis and early treatment.
