The Historical Background of H?ffe’s Political Philosophy and His Thoughts on Political Philosophy

Abstract: Höffe took many classic political philosophies, especially Kant’s political philosophy, as the theoretical guide, and constructed his political philosophy in response to the changes of external factors caused by globalization. He is committed to constructing a new model of a new theory of justice, namely exchange justice, to lay a theoretical foundation for modern law and the legitimacy of the state. He advocated fundamentalism in political philosophy and created prerequisites for freedom. He expanded Kant’s political philosophy in the context of globalization.
