Read Ethics and the Rule of Law—On Freedom and Law

摘要: 强制需要辩护，但自由需要保护。强制会限制自由，尤其是法律作为强制的一种，会干涉人们的选择自由，但人们却又尤其看重自己的自由并不希望他人干涉自己的自由，那么怎么处理自由与法律的问题就极为重要。受莱昂斯的启发，本文主要通过阐述自由与法律的一些思想，展开关于法律和自由的法哲学思考，最终提出自由是相对的，法律保护自由的同时也会约束自由。

Abstract: Mandatory needs defense, but freedom needs protection. Coercion restricts freedom, especially law as a form of coercion, which interferes with people’s freedom of choice, but people especially value their own freedom and do not want others to interfere with their own freedom, so how to deal with the issue of freedom and law is extremely important. Inspired by Lyons, this article mainly ex-pounds some thoughts on freedom and law, and launches legal and philosophical thinking about law and freedom, and finally proposes that freedom is relative, and while the law protects freedom, it also restricts freedom.
