Explore the Ways to Improve the Quality of Shantou’s Creation of a Civilized City

摘要: 近几年来，汕头创文行动可谓取得傲人的成果。然而不文明行为一直存在，文明创建任重道远。如今，全国已掀起新一轮文明城市创建热潮，为了巩固创文强管效果，汕头应从以下六个方面着手，一是提高市民个人素养，培养文明行为意识；二是加快道路升级改造，提升市民出行便捷性；三是保育修复旧建筑，打造城市新名片；四是完善共享电车管理体系，推行用户信用制度；五是强化管理机制，整治污染源；六是加强监管力度，规范市场运行。

Abstract: In recent years, Shantou’s action to create a civilized city has achieved impressive results. However, uncivilized behaviors have always existed, and the construction of a civilized city has a long way to go. Nowadays, the whole country has set off a new wave of civilized city creation. In order to consolidate the strong management effect of creating civilized city, Shantou should start from the following six aspects. One is to improve the personal quality of citizens and cultivate the awareness of civilized behaviors, and the other is to speed up the upgrading of roads to improve the convenience of citizens’ travel. The third is to preserve and repair old buildings and create a new image for the city; the fourth is to improve the shared tram management system and implement the user credit system; the fifth is to strengthen the management mechanism to rectify pollution sources, and the last one is to strengthen supervision and standardize market operations.
