Abstract: With the increasing attention and follow-up to patients who have been treated for pulmonary tuberculosis, infection is more likely to occur in these patients. Because TB is a destructive process, it can lead to fibrosis of lung tissue, parenchymal changes, bronchiectasis, scarring of the lungs, resulting in reduced lung volume, which in turn affects lung function. In addition to the recurrence and re-infection of TB, patients following TB treatment are increasingly aware of infection with other pathogens. The purpose of this article is to summarize and guide the management of pulmonary tuberculosis patients with new signs and symptoms of pulmonary infection to ensure optimal treatment and recovery.
