Sema 3A
Research Progress on the Mechanism of the Effect of Sema 3A on Bone Remodeling
Abstract: Bone is an organ with active metabolism, which is constantly reshaped throughout a person’s life. Bone remodeling is a dynamic and continuous process of bone remodeling and substitution of osteoblasts and osteoclasts during adult growth and after fracture and other injuries. Bone remodeling is affected by many factors, such as various hormones, cytokines, chemokines, biomechanical stimulation and so on. Sema 3A is a member of the Semaphorins family, mainly through the regulation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, adipose mesenchymal stem cells, osteoblasts, osteoclasts, sensory nerves and other ways to affect bone remodeling. This review focuses on summarizing and introducing the latest progress in the research on the mechanism of the effect of Sema 3A on bone remodeling in order to understand the role of Sema 3A in the skeletal system.
