摘要: 本文利用利奇和肖特的小说文体学理论，分析总结了《老人与海》中的言语与思想表述特点及其文体功能。作者海明威凭借丰富的言语与思想表述方式、不断变换的视角，刻画了老人桑提亚哥与大海和命运的搏斗及其心路历程，留下了一座集语言性、思想性与哲学性于一体的不朽丰碑。

Abstract: Leech and Short’s theory of fictional stylistics is employed in this paper to conclude the speech and thought presentation features and their corresponding stylistic functions in the “Old Man and the Sea”. By rich varieties of speech and thought presentations and changing viewpoints, Hemingway depicted the old man Santiago’s struggle against the sea and the fate and his mind course as well, leaving us an immortal monument of language, thought and philosophy.
