College Students’ Childhood Emotional Maltreatment and Depression: The Mediating Role of Peer Attachment and Resilience

摘要: 为探讨大学生童年期情感虐待与抑郁情绪的关系,以及同伴依恋和心理弹性在二者关系中的作用机制,采用童年期情感虐待分量表、流调中心用抑郁量表、同伴依恋量表和心理弹性问卷对660名大学生进行问卷调查,结果显示:1) 大学生童年情感虐待与抑郁呈显著正相关,同伴依恋、心理弹性与抑郁、童年情感虐待均呈显著负相关。2) 大学生童年情感虐待不仅能直接正向预测抑郁,还能通过同伴依恋和心理弹性的中介作用对抑郁产生影响。研究结果揭示了同伴依恋和心理弹性在童年情感虐待和抑郁的关联中存在中介效应,良好的同伴依恋和心理弹性有助于大学生抑郁情绪的预防。
Abstract: To explore the relationship between depression and childhood emotional maltreatment, as well as the mediating role of peer attachment and resilience, the inventory of Childhood Emotional maltreatment, the center for Epidemiological studies Depression Scale, Resilience Scale and Peer Attachment scale had been applied to 660 college students. The analysis results indicated: 1) There is a significant positive correlation between childhood emotional maltreatment and depression. Nevertheless, peer attachment and resilience are significantly negative correlated with depression and childhood emotional maltreatment. 2) Childhood emotional maltreatment of the college students can not only directly and positively predict depression, but also influence depression through the mediating effect of peer attachment and resilience. The results reveal that peer attachment and resilience present a mediating effect on the relationship between childhood emotional maltreatment and depression. Moreover, favourable peer attachment and resilience are helpful for the prevention of depression in college students.
