疫情防控下《伤寒论》《金匮要略》经方英译研究——以宣肺败毒方为例
English Translation Study of Decoction in Shang Han Lun and Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber against COVID-19 Pandemic—A Case Study of Xuanfei Baidu Decoction
摘要: 新冠疫情阻击战中，中医药方法的治疗有效率高达90%以上，具有显著疗效的宣肺败毒方已推荐给海外应用。本文对比分析了不同译者对宣肺败毒方中出自《伤寒论》与《金匮要略》三种主要汤剂——麻杏石甘汤、麻杏苡甘汤、葶苈大枣泻肺汤的条文翻译，结果发现直译经方条文结构、意译经方条文内容的组合翻译方式更有助于目的语读者的理解，可有效起到传播中医药思想和文化的目的。
Abstract:
In the fight against COVID-19, the effective rate of Traditional Chinese Medicine reached over 90%, among which the Xuanfei Baidu Decoction, significantly curative, has been recommended for overseas application. This paper analyzes the interpretation of three decoction from different translators in Shang Han Lun and Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber—Maxing Shigan Decoction, Maxing Yigan Decoction, Tingli and Dazao Xiefei Decoction. The result shows that literal translation of the decoction’s structure, combining the free translation towards its content will further facilitate the understanding of target language readers. In this way, the core of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture can obtain effective spreading.
